Castl Superstar may be used without entering personal information. Different rules may apply to certain services on our game and are explained separately below. Server Data
For technical reasons, data such as the following, which your APP transmits to us or to our web space provider is collected: – type and version of the game you use – operating system – your Internet Protocol (IP) address, log-files of Errors that occur due to the use of our game in order to improve Castl Superstar. This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal information you may have provided, thereby making it impossible to connect it to any particular person. The data is used for statistical purposes in order to improve our services.
Purpose of Registering
We offer you the opportunity to sign up for Castl Superstar. The information entered when signing up, as shown in the registration form
Your name, your e-mail address
is collected and stored solely for use by Castl AG. When signing up for CASTL Superstar, we also store your IP address and the date and time you registered. This serves to protect us in the event a third party improperly and without your knowledge makes use of your data to sign up for our site. None of this information is transferred to third parties.

On our websites and APPs we offer you the opportunity to contact us, either by email and/or by using a contact form. In such event, information provided by the user is stored for the purpose of facilitating communications with the user.

Use of Google-Adwords
For purposes of promotion, our APP or Webservices also employs the Google ad tool “Google-Adwords”. As part of this, our website employs the analysis service “Conversion-Tracking” from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google“. If you access our service by way of a Google ad, a cookie is placed may be placed on your device. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser downloads and stores to your device. These so-called “conversion cookies” cease to be active after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally. If you visit certain pages of our website while the cookie is still active, we and Google know that you, as user, have clicked on ads placed on Google and were redirected to us. Use of affilinet tracking cookies
Our service may employ affilinet tracking cookies in order to correctly record sales and/or leads. Cookies are small text files that are saved to your computer when you visit a website. These affilinet tracking cookies do not store personal data of any kind. Instead, it only collects the identification number of the intermediary partner as well as the reference number of the advertising material that was clicked on by the visitor. This information is required in order to process the payment transaction between the service operator and the advertiser. Other Permissions
Castl Superstar requests certain permissions, that must be granted by the user. These permissions include accessing the camera (for making a profile pic) and storage of the user’s device. Once the permission has been given, the user can revoke the permission at any time. To revoke these permissions, the user may refer to the device settings. Revoking these permissions may impair the functionality of Castl Superstar.
Once any of the permissions listed below is granted, Castl Superstar may access, modify or remove the respective personal data.
Camera permission: This permission is used to capture images and video for profile pics from the user’s device.
Storage permission: This permission is used for accessing the external storage of the user’s device, including reading, modifying and adding any items.
The personal data collected is used for accounts players may choose to create within Castl Superstar. The name and profile picture of said accounts may be publically visible if the user chooses to upload highscores online.
Changes
We are constantly updating our Services, and that means sometimes we have to change the legal terms under which our Services are offered. If we make changes that are material, we will let you know by posting on one of our blogs, or by sending you an email, notification or other communication before the changes take effect. The notice will designate a reasonable period of time after which the new terms will take effect. If you disagree with our changes, then you should stop using our Services within the designated notice period. Your continued use of our Services will be subject to the new terms. However, any dispute that arose before the changes shall be governed by the Terms (including the binding individual arbitration clause) that were in place when the dispute arose.
